As a proud partner and supporter of MWDSTA for several years, Fifty/Fifty Bottles keeps water cool for working dogs wherever they are in service to our country. From Iraq and Afghanistan to domestic tours of duty, all soldiers deserve a cool drink. The handler and working dog teams constitute the ultimate Fifty/Fifty partnership. For us, it has been a pleasure to try and make sure all teams are assured cool hydration with the highest quality bottles made.

END OF WATCH PROGRAM

The End of Watch program recognizes canine retirees and also those that pass away. We send a custom bottle for each of these soldiers and will share a small part of their story on our social feeds. How It Started: 

In 2019, MWDTSA became aware of a Special Forces military working dog (MWD) that had been KIA during a combat operation. After being transported back to base, the dog had been cremated but the handler did not have a container to put his ashes in. A fellow Special Forces handler realized that the bottle he received in his MWDTSA care package, donated by Fifty/Fifty Bottles, could substitute as a container for the dogs ashes. This bottle had our MWDTSA logo laser engraved on it: an MWD team facing the unknown together, completely trusting each other and ready to face whatever lies ahead. The handler said that this authentic representation of he and his partner forged in battle as a team was a perfect fit and he was so thankful to be able to let his partner rest inside.

 After hearing about this story, an idea was born. What if every handler could receive a bottle to honor their faithful partner? Fifty/Fifty Bottles stepped in and offered to donate a bottle to honor every MWD or retired MWD that passes away. Each bottle and tumbler is unique, featuring the dogs name, tattoo and their End of Watch date. Fifty/Fifty Bottles proudly donates these as a way to honor their memory of every MWD that serves our country. Since launching this program on January 1, 2020, Fifty/Fifty and MWDTSA have mailed 53 bottles to honor our MWDs and RMWDs that have crossed the rainbow bridge. MWDTSA is thankful for our partnership with such a philanthropic organization and our MWD teams always look forward to their Fifty/Fifty item inside each of our quarterly care packages.
